HISTORY

OUR SYSTEM
Our Angel of Water Premier Open System is an FDA-cleared medical device. Our system can be used before an endoscope examination. It is alternative to the traditional oral prep before a colonoscopy.
The traditional way to prepare for a colonoscopy is no fun. Being chained to your bathroom for two days can be inconvenient and exhausting. That’s why Rock Solid Health in Round Rock and Harker Heights is pleased to provide an alternative method, where patients can experience a simpler and easier bowel prep on the same day as their colonoscopy. Our process has been cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to effectively clean the bowel using a gentle infusion of warm, gravity-flow filtered water, and with a proper physician prescription, we an work you in at a time that’s convenient for you. This method allows patients to forgo many of the elements that make traditional bowel prep inconvenient and uncomfortable. With no need to constantly run to the toilet, you can get a good night’s sleep and achieve excellent outcomes.
OUR EXPERIENCE
Each session is conducted in a private environment, utilizing purified water, disposable nozzles, and sterilized equipment.
You will be given instructions at the same time you schedule your appointment. A few days prior to your scheduled visit you will receive a call to review the instructions. These may include taking some gentle laxatives and going on a clear liquid diet prior to your colonoscopy.
When you arrive for your prep, our trained technician will lead you to your private room and introduce you to the Prep System. Once you have been seated on the sanitized basin, the Prep tech will instruct you on how to introduce a sterile disposable nozzle into the rectum.
Once inserted, a gentle stream of warm water will flow into the bowel, loosening stool.
Water continues to flow, allowing you to comfortably and discreetly evacuate your colon. Your technician will determine when your colon has been fully cleaned. The process typically takes less than an hour. When complete, you will rinse, wipe, towel dry, and dress.

ITS HISTORY
Ionic Bath Therapy has origins stemming back 5000 years to the Eastern Indian traditions of Ayur Vedic medicine. This system of healing used concentrated sea salt baths to assist the body in drawing out impurities. This type of therapy was also practiced in Roman times in conjunction with the use of public baths. In both cases, impurities were drawn away from the body, from lower concentrations (in the body) to higher concentrations (in terms of salt) in the surrounding water, through both osmosis and diffusion.
