What to Expect in your First Colonic Session
Our clients come in for their first colonic session for a variety of reasons:
- Weight loss
- Fatigue relief
- Slow digestive systems
- A fresh start to a healthy diet
- Medical reasons
Whatever your reason is for the session, it is very likely that you are slightly nervous about the procedure. Here is what to expect during your first colonic session:
You will be evaluated by our experienced staff to make sure you are getting a procedure that is specifically catered to your own needs.
You will be accompanied by a friendly and professional hydrocolonic therapist throughout the entire procedure. He or she will be there to guide you through the process, answer any questions you may have, and keep you relaxed.
You will first change into a robe and sit on an ergonomic basin. Your hydrocolonic therapist will then guide you through the process of self-inserting the tube into your rectum. This allows for the most comfortable and discrete insertion possible. Many clients are relieved at how easy it is for them to do themselves.
Water is then gravity fed through the tube but can be controlled to reach the proper comfort level. This to ensure that you will not experience any excessive pressure during the procedure.
When finished, the tube is removed and the rest is allowed to drain into the basin. After, there is a private shower room where you can finish cleaning yourself and get redressed.
What should you not expect?
- Pain- Contrary to popular belief, this is not a painful procedure. Many of our clients refer to it as refreshing.
- Fatigue- Although every client is different, you should expect to feel a sense of lightness after the procedure, not exhaustion.
- An afternoon wasted- The procedure is quick and you will be back on your feet and out of the clinic in no time.
Our goal is to empower our clients to take control of their health, transform their bodies, and simply improve their quality of life. This procedure is very simple and has tremendous benefits. If you have any questions/ concerns or are ready to schedule your first colonic session, please contact us.
